Cinnaminson Weekend and Halloween Weather Outlook

Following Thursday’s storm system that dropped 0.32” of rainfall on Cinnaminson and frozen precipitation in parts of Northwest New Jersey and Northeast Pennsylvania, we’re talking about a weekend warmup.

Though the area’s average high for this time of year is 62°, we’re in for temperatures well-above average for this weekend followed by a seasonal cool-down for Halloween.

Following our departing system to the northeast, high pressure will briefly build in as winds change direction and come out of the southwest for Saturday.

We’ll see a mostly sunny sky and breezy conditions at times, but the biggest news will be our relatively high temperatures. Our high will likely near 70° with that warming wind from the south.

As a low pressure system cuts across Southeast Canada on Saturday night and into Sunday, its associated cold front will sag south into the Northeast but remain to our north. That will allow the warm air mass to remain over our area and bring highs well into the 70’s and nearing 80° on Sunday.

This will come with an increase in clouds as a weak system moves through and brings showers Sunday evening and into the early part of the night.

Finally, that weak system on Sunday will bring in a cold front that will set the stage for a chilly Halloween.

Clouds will clear out allowing for a mostly sunny day as highs near 60°. However, you’ll want to bundle up for a chilly evening as the sun sets and temperatures dip to around 50° and into the 40’s as night falls on the town.
