Following Wednesday evening’s showers, we’re going to continue our mild and dry November into the early half of the weekend.

Despite average highs for this time of the year in the mid-50’s, Cinnaminson will bask in mild, above-average temperatures today and tomorrow ahead of an incoming cold front associated with a low pressure system currently unleashing blizzard conditions in the northern US.

However, the region will see its first shot of real wintry air to start next week.

Our Friday and Saturday will each see our weather dominated by high pressure and a relatively warm air mass.

Today, sunshine will reign as highs rise into the mid-60’s.  Tomorrow, though, will be the better day of the two (at least through the afternoon).

Preceding tomorrow night’s cold front, highs will soar into the upper-60’s with a mostly sunny sky and a southerly wind.

Things will change, and in a hurry, come tomorrow evening as clouds increase quickly from the west toward sunset.

Accompanying the cloud cover will be the threat of showers, likely arriving between 5 and 8pm as of now.

Will we see some flakes Saturday night as cold air rushes in behind the front? Probably not, but I wouldn’t rule it out, but the chance for snowflakes is much better into Central and more so North Jersey.

Overall, the rainfall won’t be major and should be pretty minimal compared to what follows.

Behind the cold frontal passage, winds will pick up and be the main story for Saturday evening through Monday along with the cold temperatures.

Winds will be sustained at 20-25mph and gusting to 40mph+.  Morning lows on Monday and Tuesday likely fall into the upper-20’s and daytime highs will only make it into the 40’s.

Along with the strong, cold wind out of the northwest, it wouldn’t surprise me if a rogue snow shower passed through Sunday evening/night, but the chances are again better elsewhere, north and west of Philadelphia.
