When: Monday, May 9 at 6:30pm.

Where: Memorial Field.

Cinnaminson: 10-7

Riverside: 10-7

The Pirates had their four-game win streak snapped on Saturday evening with a 6-3 loss to Holy Cross in the BCSL Tournament, dropping their record to 10-7 overall.

Cinnaminson has been eliminated from the BCSL Tournament, but learned late Sunday that they had made the prestigious Diamond Classic.

The Pirates will take on Lenape on Saturday, May 14 at 10:30am at Hammonton High School in the 43rd edition of the Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic.

During their four-game win streak the Pirates picked up victories against Holy Cross (5-0), Pemberton (4-3), Bordentown (11-4) and Burlington Township (9-1).

The wins over Holy Cross and Bordentown came in division play and moved the Pirates Patriot record to 5-0. The win over Pemberton came in the BCSL Tournament.

Cinnaminson has its sights set on another division title, and with just three games remaining against division opponents, the Pirates are closing in on reaching that goal.

The Pirates have to face Delran, Holy Cross and Pemberton to finish out their Patriot schedule.

Tonight’s game under the lights features a battle of first place teams. Riverside, also 10-7 overall, comes in with a 4-1 mark in the BCSL-Freedom, good for first place.

The Rams are riding a three-game win streak in which they have scored double digits in runs in all three games, outscoring their opponents 39-10.

Riverside’s most recent game was a 10-5 win over Maple Shade on Saturday.

Riverside has played every team in the Patriot, except for Cinnaminson, and has a 1-3 record against those teams. The Rams lone win against a Patriot team came against Bordentown.

The Pirates will look to hand Riverside a fourth loss against Patriot teams tonight.

Cinnaminson has only played one team from the Freedom this year and it was a 16-4 win over Florence. The only other scheduled game, against New Egypt, was canceled due to rain.

The Pirates took down Riverside 13-4 last season on senior night.
