Bacho Family Eye Care is slated to open in Cinnaminson on Monday. Take a look at the business, led by Dr. Alan Bacho, with our profile.

The brand new office is located at 1104 Route 130 North, Suite T in the Main Line Professional Building.

Dr. Bacho brings decades of eye care experience, most of which (28) have been spent in Cinnaminson, to this new venture.

“The permits and things like that were good. We were requesting a special handicap ramp, which took some extra time because of the loss of green space and moving parking spaces,” Dr. Bacho said.

“There were a lot of logistics that had to happen to get it done. It took a little longer. I was hoping we would have been open a month ago. It wasn’t a six-month delay. We’re talking just six weeks.”

Dr. Bacho has taken over four offices in the building, converting them into one suite.

When you walk into the office, the waiting room and front desk utilize an open floor plan that is very welcoming.

All of the glasses Dr. Bacho has to offer are on display on the wall in the waiting room so patients can get a feel for what they might want prior to their appointment.

The new office features four exam rooms, a screening room and a special screening room for patients with eye diseases.

“Once the final touches are put on, I think everything’s come out exactly as I dreamt it, actually better,” Dr. Bacho said. “It really did turn out beautiful.”

Dr. Bacho is particularly excited about the iCare Tonometer, which is a piece of equipment that tests for glaucoma, but no longer uses the Puff Test.

“It’s going to be the thing that the patients love the most,” Dr. Bacho said. “The one thing everyone hates about going to the eye doctor is sitting in front of that machine and getting their eye puffed with air.”

All four exam rooms are equipped with computerized eye charts. One of the exam rooms has a handicap accessible exam chair that glides on tracks.

“We wanted it to be comfortable for the patients, easy access and all handicap accessible,” Dr. Bacho said. “Everything is coming along great.”

The renovation of the space was performed by Beacon Construction Services and Dr. Bacho couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

“Beacon’s done a great job of fitting out the office. They were efficient and everything’s turned out exactly how I wanted,” Dr. Bacho said.

“There was a lot done. The place was stripped down to a shell and started from scratch. Any issues were addressed quickly. They made sure the project got done and kept everyone on track.”

Dr. Bacho will begin seeing patients on Monday. Call the office at 856-303-1506 to schedule an appointment.
