When: Wednesday, October 5 at 3:45pm

Where: Pennsauken High School

Pirates 2-5-1, 2-4 Liberty

The Pirates have had a rough go of it so far in 2016.

Cinnaminson has an overall record of 2-5-1 and a 2-4 mark in the Liberty Division.

Their two division wins have come against Pennsauken by a 3-0 score and Burlington Township 2-1.

The Pirates are in the midst of a three-game losing streak, including two straight losses within the division to Delran and Northern Burlington.

Six of their next seven games come against division opponents. The only non-divisional match is Friday on the road at Pemberton.

Today’s game against Pennsauken marks the start of the second run through division opponents.

Indians 2-8, 0-6 Liberty

Pennsauken also comes into today’s match with just two wins on the year, but has yet to win a Liberty contest.

The Indians are 0-6 after the first turn through division play, scoring just one goal during that stretch.

Pennsauken’s two wins this season have come against Leap Academy and Burlington City.

The Indians have been shutout five times and have given up six goals in back-to-back games coming into today.

Pennsauken has lost four in a row and have been outscored 20-4 during the losing streak.

The Indians have yet to win a game against a Liberty Division opponent since joining the division a couple of years ago.

Head to Head

Cinnaminson shutout Pennsauken 3-0 on Senior Night earlier this season.

It was the first win of the year for the Pirates.

Cinnaminson has never lost to Pennsauken since the Indians joined the Liberty.

Last season, the Pirates picked up wins of 2-1 (overtime) and 5-2.
