As we continue to spotlight the senior athletes at Cinnaminson High School, we bring you a question and answer session with girl’s lacrosse player Cait Kollar.
The girl’s lacrosse team is 6-1 on the season as of this spotlight being published, having won six games in a row after a season-opening loss to Holy Cross by just one goal.
College: University of Scranton
Major: Biology

Kollar has not decided which sport she will play in college, but it will be either soccer or lacrosse.
Kollar spoke about what she has learned the most from head coach Laura Curran and the rest of the coaching staff while playing varsity lacrosse for the Pirates
“Over the past three years, Coach Curran and the rest of the coaching staff have helped me become a much better player. The most important thing they have ever taught me is to make the attacker go where I want her to go and to always protect the goal.”
As we have been noticing with a few of our other Senior Spotlights, those that have been published and those that will publish soon, the rivalries are nearly the same across all of the sports.
“The toughest opponent we face is either RV or Holy Cross. Both teams are very talented and we share huge rivalries with them.”
As a senior, Curran is looked to as a leader for the younger players by the coaching staff.
“As a senior, I am reminded every day by Coach Curran how important it is to be a leader. I always try my best on and off the field to lead by example and be a friend to every girl on the team. Having a good team chemistry is one key component to having a successful team.”
