The Pirates Daily Preview for Wednesday, January 6 features one varsity program in action as wrestling visits BCIT-Westampton.

Wrestling: At BCIT-Westampton at 7pm.

Match Preview Capsule: The Pirates return to the mat after finishing sixth out of 13 teams with 91.5 points at the Arthur O. Marinelli Tournament hosted by Egg Harbor Township High School. Heavyweight Keith Swartley was the lone Pirate to compete in the finals, winning his bout by a 10-4 decision. The Pirates come into this match with a 3-0 record, with all three wins coming at a quad hosted by Robbinsville earlier this season.

Westampton enters today with a record of 0-1, having taken part in just one meet that was not a tournament. That loss came to Rancocas Valley to open the season by a score of 44-21. Westampton took part in the Palmyra Tournament on December 30, having just two wrestlers win their weight classes. Cinnaminson took the lone meeting between these two teams last year by a score of 65-6. The Pirates lost just two bouts in the match.

Cinn City Sports will have coverage of wrestling at Westampton Tech beginning at 7pm. Be sure to follow us on Twitter for live updates throughout the contest.
