Swimming: With just one meet under their belts this week due to the blizzard, the swim team went 0-1 with a loss to Moorestown. The honor this week goes to Ben Kern. Kern was the lone event winner against the Quakers, finishing the 100 Freestyle with a time of 51.47.

On the boy’s end, the honor goes to Christian Neumann. Neumann was the highest finisher for the boys at seventh place in the pole vault with a 10-00.00.

We have a co-award for the girl’s as both Prisca Blamon and Taylor Clark captured the highest finishes for the Pirates. Blamon threw a 30-03 shot put and Clark 8-06 in the pole vault to both finish fourth in their respective events.

Wrestling: On the mat, the Pirates beat Delran late in their lone match of the week. The honor this week goes to Isaiah Elias. Elias walked onto the mat with the Pirates down 33-31. All he needed to do was win his bout by decision. Instead, he went out and pinned his opponent in less than two minutes to give the Pirates a come from behind victory, 37-33.
