When: Thursday, April 28 at 3:45pm

Where: Cinnaminson

Cinnaminson: 6-8, 1-2

Florence: 3-7, 0-2

The Pirates come into today’s game having played just one official game so far this week. It was back on Monday in the second round of the BCSL Tournament against Bordentown.

The Pirates picked up a 4-3 win to advance to the quarterfinals and senior outfielder Brooke Figiel recorded her 100th career hit in the process.

Cinnaminson traveled to Moorestown on Tuesday and played an inning and a half before a third lightning strike caused the umpires to call the game. No makeup date has been announced.

The win on Monday moved the Pirates record to 6-8 overall. The game did not count as a Patriot contest. Cinnaminson is 1-2 in the division this year with a win against Pemberton and losses to Bordentown and Delran.

The Pirates have played Florence already this year, but it came in the first round of the BCSL and did not count towards division records.

Cinnaminson won that meeting by a 6-2 score. Rebecca Proctor went five innings for the win. She allowed one earned run on four hits. Chelsea Price went the final two innings for the save. Price allowed one earned run on three hits.

Florence enters this game in the midst of a three game losing streak that began with the 6-2 loss to the Pirates in the opening round of the BCSL.

The Flashes are 3-7 on the year and 0-2 in the Patriot. They have lost to Delran and Pemberton so far in the division. Their loss to Delran was their most recent game played and it came last Friday.

Starting with today’s game against Cinnaminson, the Flashes play four games in a row against Patriot opponents. Their schedule goes Cinnaminson, Bordentown, Delran and Cinnaminson again.

In the first meeting this season with the Pirates, Lacey Olaff took the loss on the mound. She went six innings, allowing four hits and six runs. Only two of those six runs were earned as the Flashes committed three errors. She walked four and struck out eight.
