Where: Cinnaminson High School

Pirates 1-2

Cinnaminson opened the season with back-to-back losses by 2-0 scores to Moorestown and Rancocas Valley.

The Pirates also took part in the Moorestown Tournament last weekend, a round robin event that does not count towards regular season records.

Cinnaminson picked up its first win of the season on Tuesday by a 2-0 score over Pennsauken.

The Pirates won in straight sets by scores of 25-23 and 25-16.

Silver Knights 2-1

The Silver Knights have also played three matches so far in 2016, going 2-1.

Their wins came against Pennsauken and Florence by identical 2-0 scores.

Their lone loss came by a 2-0 score to Eastern.

Head to Head

Cinnaminson and Sterling split the season series in 2015. The Silver Knights picked up a 2-0 win, while the Pirates grabbed a 2-1 win late in the season.

The 2-1 win for the Pirates snapped an 11-match losing streak against the Silver Knights dating back to the 2009 season.
