Hundreds of residents braved the frigid temperatures on Friday night for the annual Cinnaminson tree lighting at Wood Park.

Wood Park turned into a winter wonderland for two-plus hours to the joy and amazement of kids of all ages.

There were toy train rides, horse and carriage rides, photos with Santa, carolers from Footlighters, a performance from the Rush School Music Makers and the Aqua string band.

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived on a horse-drawn sleigh and walked into the winter wonderland to the cheers of excited children.

Santa helped the community countdown to the lighting of the tree and then met with every and any child who wanted to sit on his lap.

Residents were treated to hot chocolate, cookies and plenty of great music.

The Rush School Music Makers sang their song from the More FM contest, “Santa Bring My Baby Back” among other carols.

The Footlighters “A Christmas Carol” singers also performed for the crowd.

In between the two performances came the Aqua String Band, which performed popular Christmas songs and traditional mummers songs.
