The final Pirates Week in Review is here as the boy’s track and field program was the last team to compete this spring season.

We have reached the end of the 2015 spring season as the boy’s track and field program ended its schedule with two athletes competing at the Meet of Champions at South Plainfield.

Ryan Addlesberger competed in the Meet of Champions and finished fifth in the competition with a throw of 56-11.25. Addlesberger also competed in the discus event, finishing unranked after a foul.

Thomas Long competed in the 800 meter run at the Meet of Champions and finished 15th in the competition with a run of 1:56.99.

That is all she wrote for the Pirates Week in Review for this first Sunday in June. The spring 2015 season is complete. It was a blast and a pleasure covering all nine of the spring varsity programs this season and I look forward to what the fall has to bring.

Coming later today, the final Pirates Athletes of the Week.

This week we will have season reviews for baseball, boy’s track and field and girl’s track and field. We will also have more Alumni Profiles and Senior Spotlights all this coming week.

Throughout the summer we will bring you coverage of the Cinnaminson Reds, the township’s Rancocas Valley League semi-pro baseball team.

Other stories will be published this summer, including feature stories of sports groups in town.

Then, in the month of August, we will have some really cool features for you as we spend a couple of days with Assistant Athletic Director and Athletic Trainer Chip Cherwony behind the scenes and a week at pre-season camp with the football program.

Then, we will begin publishing fall 2015 season previews for all of the fall sports towards the end of August. When September arrives, we will bring you in-depth coverage of all the fall sports, just like we did for the spring teams this season.
