Game coverage for the first Monday in the month of May features boy’s lacrosse vs Northern Burlington at 3:45pm. Before the Pirates and the Greyhounds meet for a BCL contest we bring you an in-depth look at the game with our Gameday Focus.

When: Monday, May 2 at 3:45pm.

Where: Cinnaminson High School (George D. Paternoster Memorial Field)

Cinnaminson: 2-10, 0-8 BCL

Northern Burlington: 8-7, 3-4 BCL

When the Pirates take the field Monday afternoon they will do so for the 13th time this season and ninth time against a BCL opponent. Cinnaminson enters with an overall mark of 2-10 and a BCL record of 0-8.

Cinnaminson dropped a BCL contest to Delran by a score of 16-3 on Friday, their 10th loss of the season overall and second of the year to the Bears.

Last week the Pirates went 1-2 with a 17-5 win over Winslow Township and losses to Delran and New Egypt (14-2).

The Pirates will look to win their third game of the year when they host Northern Burlington, a team they dropped an 8-3 game to earlier this season.

In that game the Pirates picked up goals from Mason McLaverty, Ryan Bleistine and Tom Schlindwein.

The Greyhounds were led by Scott Senachi with three goals and two assists. Tom Breslin had two goals, Jayden Vargus had two goals and Dean Heminghaus had one goal in the win.

Cinnaminson has never beaten Northern Burlington in the program’s brief history. The Pirates are 0-7 against the Greyhounds coming into today including the loss from earlier this season.

Northern Burlington enters play with an 8-7 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the BCL.

The Greyhounds are fresh off a 17-1 romp of Steinert on Friday that moved them one game over the .500 mark. The win snapped a two-game losing streak to New Egypt and Rancocas Valley.

Their three wins in the BCL have come against New Egypt, Delran and Cinnaminson.

In their 17-1 win over Steinert Senachi and Breslin each scored four goals as three other players scored two goals apiece and three others scored one goal each.

The one goal allowed versus Steinert is the lowest total allowed by the Greyhounds this year, who have yet to record a shutout. Their previous low was the three goals allowed against Cinnaminson in the first meeting between the two teams.
