Pennsauken Tech preview

Pennsauken Tech visits Cinnaminson tonight for a non-conference boy’s basketball contest. Tipoff is slated for 5:15pm. Here is our preview of the game.

When: Monday, December 19 at 5:15pm

Where: Cinnaminson High School

Pirates 0-1

Cinnaminson looks to rebound from a rough opener Friday night that saw them drop an 81-43 decision to Patriot rival Bordentown.

Cinnaminson was led by Conor Bresnahan, who recorded 18 points in the loss.

The second half was a much better story for the Pirates, who limited their turnovers and moved the ball with crisper passes, fighting to the final buzzer.

Tornados 0-1

Pennsauken Tech also comes into this contest with an 0-1 mark after dropping their opener 54-51 to Camden Tech last week.

The Tornados led 26-20 at halftime, but were outscored 34-25 in the second half.

Da’Shawn Chambliss led the Tornados with 22 points, 20 from the floor.

Tariq Moore chipped in 13 as the only other player in double digits for Pennsauken Tech.

Head to Head

These two teams met twice last season, with the Pirates securing wins in both contests.

Cinnaminson picked up a victory in the first meeting 67-47 and 69-35 in the second meeting.
