The Cinnaminson Fire Department is sponsoring a kid safe Halloween event on Monday night at Station 201 on Cinnaminson Avenue.

Children will be able to attend the event, which runs from 5-9pm, at Station 201 at 1725 Cinnaminson Avenue.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

“In order to ensure that Cinnaminson children have a safe place to go Trick or Treating this coming Halloween, the Cinnaminson Fire Department will be sponsoring a Kid Safe Halloween at the Cinnaminson Avenue fire station Monday evening,” Chief William Kramer said in a release.

Children will be able to receive food and non-food items, fire safety items for their goodie bags and meet firefighters. Some firefighters might be dressed in their costumes.

Children will also be able to try on equipment, sit in the firetrucks and ask questions about the fire service.

The department’s breast cancer awareness support items will also be on sale for the final day of the month.

All proceeds benefit the Rebecca A. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Virtua Women’s Comfort Fund.
