#5 Pirates Defeat Palmyra 4-1 for Season Sweep

On April 25, the Pirates hosted Palmyra for a Freedom Division game and came away with a 4-1 victory, their second of the season against the Panthers. The win was the Pirates seventh in a row on the young season. It was an important win because Cinnaminson had already defeated Palmyra earlier in the season after splitting with their neighbors last season.

#4 Pirates Defeat Holy Cross 4-1 for 14th Straight Win

The Pirates went on a lengthy win streak in 2016, 14 wins in a row to be exact, that helped them not only win the Freedom Division crown, but also earn a playoff spot. Their 14th and final win in a row came against Holy Cross 4-1 on May 12. The win also put the Pirates one win away from the Freedom crown.

#3 Pirates Defeat Delsea 4-1 in First Round of Playoffs

Cinnaminson earned the #5 seed in the South, Group 2 Tournament thanks in large part to their lengthy win streak in 2016. The Pirates opened the postseason with a 4-1 win over #12 Delsea at Wood Park to advance to the second round. The Pirates would go on to fall to West Deptford 4-1 in the second round.

#2 Pirates Win Freedom Crown Outright

Cinnaminson won the Freedom Division title outright in 2016 after failing to secure a division crown in 2015. It was the Pirates first title since 2014. The division title was secured on May 19 against rival Holy Cross. It was the second win over the Lancers this season and came by a 3-2 score. The Pirates finished 9-0 in the division, having just one match canceled due to weather.

#1 Pirates Defeat Rancocas Valley 3-2

The Pirates biggest match of the season had to be their 3-2 win over Rancocas Valley on May 10. It was the Pirates 12th straight win of the year and first over the Red Devils in quite some time. Cinnaminson previously lost to Rancocas Valley in the second match of the season by a 3-2 score. The Pirates picked up wins at first, second and third singles to take down the Red Devils.
