#13 Medford Tech: 9-10

Cinnaminson opens the South, Group 2 Tournament today with a home game against Medford Tech.

The Pirates are red-hot right now, having won three in a row heading into today, including a 7-1 romp over Patriot rival Delran that raised their division record to 3-5.

The other two wins during the streak came against Glassboro and then Pitman, both of them shutouts.

During the three game win streak the Pirates have allowed just one run as Rebecca Martino and Chelsea Price have been nearly unhittable.

The three game win streak comes after a four game losing streak that dropped the Pirates record from 7-8 to 7-12 and dropped them out of contention for a division title with Patriot losses to Bordentown, Florence and Pemberton.

Medford Tech comes into today with a 9-10 overall record and is fresh off a 17-16 win over Willingboro on May 19.

Medford Tech has allowed double digits in runs eight times this season.

The first three games of the season were a struggle for Medford Tech, which was outscored 33-2 and shutout twice in losses to Westampton Tech, Delran and Pemberton.

When it comes to common opponents, Cinnaminson and Medford Tech have both played Pemberton, Delran, Holy Cross, Riverside, Maple Shade and Westampton Tech.

Cinnaminson went 4-4, while Medford Tech went 0-8 against common opponents.
