Take a look back at the week that was in Pirates sports with the Pirates Week in Review for November 7-13.

Boy’s Cross Country: The boy’s cross country team competed at the Group 2 state meet at Holmdel on Saturday. Mike Ungvarsky finished first for the state title in 15:58. The team finished in sixth to end the season.

Football: The football team fell to Collingswood on Friday night 24-22 in the first round of the South, Group 2 playoffs despite a late comeback bid in the second half. The Pirates are now 6-3 and finish with Delran on November 23 at 7pm as they look for an outright division title.

Girl’s Cross Country: The girl’s cross country team also competed at the Group 2 state meet at Holmdel on Saturday. Madison Edwards was the highest finisher at 20:54 as the team came in 18th place.

Girl’s Soccer: The girl’s soccer team went 1-1 this week in the playoffs. The Pirates took down Middle Township 2-0 on Tuesday in the semifinal before falling to Haddonfield 1-0 in the South, Group 2 final on Friday. The Pirates finish the year 19-3-1.
