The Pirates Daily Preview for Saturday, May 28 features both track and field programs at sectionals and baseball at Holy Cross.

Boy’s Track and Field: At Sectionals at 9am.

Meet Preview Capsule: The Pirates will compete at the South, Group 2 Sectionals today at Central Regional High School in Bayville today. Check back later today for full results.

Girl’s Track and Field: At Sectionals at 9am.

Meet Preview Capsule: The girl’s track and field team will also travel to Central Regional today in Bayville for the South, Group 2 Sectionals. Check the site later today for complete results.

Baseball: At Holy Cross at 10am.

Game Preview Capsule: The final regular season game of 2016 for baseball comes at Holy Cross today at 10am. Cinnaminson is 13-11 overall and 5-2 in the Patriot. The Pirates must win this game to win the division crown. Holy Cross comes in at 20-7 overall and 3-4 in the Patriot. Cinnaminson is 1-1 against Holy Cross this year. The Pirates picked up a 5-0 win in division play and dropped a 6-3 contest in the BCSL Tournament. Cinnaminson has won two in a row, both playoff games, while Holy Cross has also won two in a row. One of those wins was a 10-0 first round playoff win over Timothy Christian this week.

Jim is the creator and editor of Cinn City Sports. He also created At the Dish, Life With Tony and Enzo and is the owner of JAVFreelancing. He coached baseball for five years, three at his former high school (Holy Cross in Delran, NJ) and two at prominent Division III program Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. He has worked for the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, NJ; Metro Networks in Bala Cynwyd, PA; and was the play-by-play announcer for the Camden Riversharks of the Independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball for two seasons (2007-2008) on Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM, the student-run radio station at Rowan University. Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and minor in Journalism from Rowan University in 2008. While in school he was the Assistant Sports Director at WGLS for two years and the Sports Director for one year. He also covered the football, baseball, softball and both basketball teams for the school newspaper 'The Whit.' He is the former Sports Editor for the Cinnaminson and Moorestown Patch websites.
