The Pirates Daily Preview for Monday, May 23 features baseball and softball in the playoffs and golf at the Group 1 championship.

Golf: At the Group 1 Championship at 9am.

Match Preview Capsule: The Pirates golf team completed a second consecutive undefeated regular season last week (15-0) and also won the Central-South Group 1 Sectional Title to advance to the Group 1 Championship today. 

Softball: Home vs Medford Tech at 3:45pm for first round of South, Group 2 Tournament.

Game Preview Capsule: The Pirates softball team opens the South, Group 2 Tournament today with a home game against Medford Tech at 3:45pm. Cinnaminson finished the regular season on a three-game win streak to raise its record to 10-12 overall and 3-5 in the Patriot after a 7-1 win over Delran. Check Cinn City Sports today at 2pm for our first round playoff preview vs Medford Tech.

Baseball: Home vs Sterling at 4pm for first round of South, Group 2 Tournament.

Game Preview Capsule: The Pirates baseball team opens the South, Group 2 Tournament today with a home game against Sterling at 4pm. Cinnaminson ended the regular season on a four-game losing streak to fall to 11-11 overall and 5-2 in the Patriot after a 12-2 loss to Pemberton. Check Cinn City Sports today at Noon for our first round playoff preview vs Sterling.

He coached baseball for five years, three at his former high school (Holy Cross in Delran, NJ) and two at prominent Division III program Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. He has worked for the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, NJ; Metro Networks in Bala Cynwyd, PA; and was the play-by-play announcer for the Camden Riversharks of the Independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball for two seasons (2007-2008) on Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM, the student-run radio station at Rowan University. Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and minor in Journalism from Rowan University in 2008. While in school he was the Assistant Sports Director at WGLS for two years and the Sports Director for one year. He also covered the football, baseball, softball and both basketball teams for the school newspaper 'The Whit.' He is the former Sports Editor for the Cinnaminson and Moorestown Patch websites.
