The Pirates Athletes of the Week for January 15 are here. See who takes home the honors this week at Cinnaminson High School.

Bowling: The boy’s bowling team enjoyed a 3-0 week to move to 9-2 on the season. The boy’s bowling athlete of the week goes to Sean Harris, who recorded back-to-back high sets in the 600s (678 and 605). Girl’s bowling went 0-3 this week to drop to 2-9 on the year. The girl’s bowling athlete of the week goes to Audrey Bishop. Bishop led the Pirates with the high set in all three matches this week.

Boy’s Basketball: The Pirates went 0-3 this week to fall to 5-7 overall and 1-4 in the division. Cinnaminson has lost four in a row. The boy’s basketball athlete of the week goes to JP Rickus. Rickus led the Pirates in scoring twice this week with 17 and 20.

Girl’s Basketball: The Pirates went 1-1 this week to move to 9-2 overall and 2-1 in the division. The girl’s basketball athlete of the week goes to Fiona Flynn. Flynn led the Pirates in scoring in both games this week with 16 and 23.

Swimming: The swim team went 1-1 this week with a win over Holy Cross and a loss to Moorestown. The swimming athlete of the week goes to Ryan Kay. Kay won two individual races against Holy Cross and picked up the lone Pirate win in the loss to Moorestown.

Winter Track: The Winter Track team competed at the SJTCA Meet in Toms River, the Cherokee Throwdown and the SJTCA JV Meet in Toms River. The winter track athlete of the week goes to Frankie Stepnowski, who won the Cherokee Throwdown with a PR of 48’4″ in the shot put.

Wrestling: The wrestling team enjoyed a 5-0 week with wins over Rancocas Valley on Sean Cullen Memorial Night, Bordentown, Hammonton, Lower Cape May and Atlantic City. The Pirates are now 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the Patriot Division. The wrestling athlete of the week goes to Keith Swartley. Swartley went 5-0 this week, including his 100th career win in the match against Rancocas Valley.
