Bowling Group 1 Sectional Tournament

Following a winless season in 2014-2015, the Pirates girl’s bowling team enjoyed quite an impressive turnaround campaign in 2015-2016. The girls finished with an overall record of 9-7-1 and placed third at the BCSL Tournament.

On Saturday morning, the girls took part in the Group 1 Sectional Tournament at Laurel Lanes in Maple Shade. The Pirates put up quite a fight, showing all of Group 1 why they had such an impressive year.

The Pirates finished the competition in fourth place behind Bishop Eustace, New Egypt and Gloucester City. Only the top two teams advance to states.

Paige D’Amato paced the Pirates with a high series of 489.¬†Audrey Bishop finished with a 422 series. Lauren Gallo had a 399 series. Courtney D’Amato had a 373 series and Alyssa Carroll a 356 series.
