Gameday Focus: Wrestling vs Delran South, Group 2 First Round

Coverage tonight features wrestling versus Delran in the first round of the South, Group 2 tournament at 7pm. Here is a preview with our Gameday Focus.

When: Monday, February 6 at 7pm

Where: Cinnaminson High School

#4 Pirates 14-6

Cinnaminson, after the state re-seeded this bracket, comes in as the #4 seed in South, Group 2.

The Pirates are 14-6 after a 2-1 weekend at a quad hosted by Shawnee.

The Pirates took down the host and Absegami. They lost to Collingswood, the #1 seed in the South, Group 2 bracket.

#5 Bears 17-8-1

Delran is the #5 seed in the bracket.

The Bears are 17-8-1 overall after a 46-25 win over Robbinsville this past weekend.

Head to Head

This is the second straight year the Pirates are hosting the Bears in the first round of the South, Group 2 tournament.

Last year the Pirates came away with a dominating 44-18 victory.

The Pirates recently took down the Bears to win the Patriot Division title outright last week, 38-24.

The win last week was the fourth straight for Cinnaminson against Delran in this series.
