Pirates 2-2

Cinnaminson comes into this match with a 2-2 mark after taking down Pemberton 67-6 last week.

The Pirates were scheduled to take part in the Paul Finn Duals over the weekend, but inclement weather prevented that trip.

Tonight’s match will honor fallen New Jersey State Police Trooper Sean Cullen, a Cinnaminson High School graduate killed in the line of duty last year.

Cullen was the first wrestler in school history to reach 100 (103) wins in a career. He went on to become an All-American at Lycoming College (94 wins).

Cullen also spent time coaching the sport at Cinnaminson and Camden Catholic.

Red Devils 4-1

Rancocas Valley enters this match with a 4-1 mark.

The Red Devils suffered their first loss of the season last week, 38-31 to Brick Township.

The team’s four wins in a row to open the year came against Holy Cross 33-15, Westampton Tech 63-15, Deptford 63-6 and Audubon 39-24.

Head to Head

These two teams had last year’s match canceled.

The last time they met, Cinnaminson picked up a dominating 55-13 win during the 2014-2015 season.

The Pirates haven’t lost to the Red Devils since the 2010-2011 season, a 51-16 setback.

Cinnaminson rides a four-match win streak against Rancocas Valley into tonight’s match.
