The Pirates football team hosts Liberty Division rival Bordentown tonight at 7pm looking for at least a share of the division crown.

When: Friday, November 4 at 7pm

Where: Cinnaminson High School’s George D. Paternoster Memorial Field

Pirates 5-2, 3-0 Liberty

Cinnaminson looks to get back in the win column tonight after suffering two straight losses to Collingswood and West Deptford.

The Pirates fell last Friday night 14-6 to the Eagles on the road despite taking a quick 6-0 lead on a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Andrew Goshine.

The six points are the lowest scored in a game this season by the Pirates.

Cinnaminson enters this contest at 3-0 in the division after three shutout victories against Willingboro, Robbinsville and Holy Cross.

Coming into tonight’s game the Pirates are fifth in South, Group 2 in power points with 93.

A win tonight could move the Pirates up to fourth, which would give them a first-round home game.

Scotties 2-5, 1-3 Liberty

Bordentown has just two wins this season, with one of them coming against Liberty rival Robbinsville.

The Scotties come into tonight’s division tilt on a two-game losing streak.

Bordentown has lost to Willingboro and Audubon by a combined score of 53-14.

The Scotties have allowed 30 or more points in a game four times this season.

Bordentown has 42 power points, which puts them in 13th in Central, Group 2, well out of playoff contention.

The Scotties will simply look to play the role of spoiler tonight against the Pirates.

Cinnaminson has dominated the series against Bordentown since the Scotties joined the division in 2013.

The Pirates are 3-0, including a 38-0 win last season in Bordentown.
