When: Friday, October 28 at 7pm

Where: West Deptford High School

Pirates 5-1

After moving to 5-0 for the first time in years, the Pirates hit their first speedbump of the 2016 season with a 12-8 loss on the road to Collingswood.

The game against Collingswood was a defensive battle as both teams struggled to move the football and score points.

Cinnaminson had an opportunity to take the lead late in the game, but could not punch the football into the end zone on fourth and goal.

The Pirates had a bye last week in preparation for a showdown with West Deptford tonight.

In their five wins this season the Pirates have scored 22 points or more. They also have three shutouts, all coming against Liberty Division opponents.

Cinnaminson has outscored its opponents 200-44 through six games.

The Pirates appear on one South Jersey poll this week, coming in at #22.

As it stands right now, the Pirates have 88 power points, which puts them in fourth place in South, Group 2.

Eagles 6-0

West Deptford enters tonight at 6-0 after a 48-14 dismantling of perennial power Haddonfield.

The Eagles have a two-headed running attack in Gio Gismondi and Anthony Seas that has been overwhelming opposing defenses this season.

The pair carried the football 33 times for 332 yards and five touchdowns in the victory over Haddonfield last week.

West Deptford has outscored its opponents 253-41 this year, averaging over 42 points per game on offense.

The Eagles defense has been just as dominant, allowing an average of 6.83 points per game.

Seas has rushed for at least 100 yards in all six games played this season.

The Eagles appear on three polls this week, coming in at #3 twice and #5 once.

West Deptford boasts 94 power points, which puts them in third place in South, Group 2.
