Pirates 8-2

The Pirates enter tonight’s game looking to rebound from a Patriot loss to rival Delran on Tuesday, 36-32.

The difference in the game was four missed free throws for the Pirates.

The Pirates rallied in the fourth quarter, but could not get over the hump to tie or take the lead.

The loss ended a seven-game win streak for the Pirates, who look to get back in the win column tonight.

During that seven-game win streak the Pirates had scored 50 or more points in six of the seven games.

Scotties 4-5

Bordentown enters tonight’s non-conference contest with a record of 4-5.

The Scotties have dropped three in a row, including a 37-21 loss to Holy Cross their last time on the court.

The 21 points are the lowest scored by Bordentown this season for a team that has enjoyed a ton of offense.

The Scotties have scored 50 or more points four times this season and 40 or more seven times.

Head to Head

These two teams were in the Freedom Division last season and split their two meetings.

The first was a 41-38 win for the Pirates on a last-second bucket by Anne O’Malley.

The second was a 57-45 win for the Scotties. It was the lone loss of the season for the Pirates in the division.
