Gameday Focus: Boy’s Basketball versus Riverside

The boy’s basketball team returns home tonight to host Riverside at 5:30pm. Here is our preview of the game with the Gameday Focus.

When: Thursday, January 5 at 5:30pm

Where: Cinnaminson High School

Pirates 4-3

Cinnaminson comes into tonight’s game in the midst of a two-game losing streak.

The Pirates opened the year 4-1, but have dropped games to New Foundations (PA) in the Collingswood Holiday Tournament title game and Pemberton.

The four wins came in a row after opening the season with an 81-43 loss to division foe Bordentown.

Conor Bresnahan leads the Pirates with 20.6 points per game. He is followed by Craig Turner at 13.1 points per game.

Rams 3-4

Riverside comes into this contest with a 3-4 record and has dropped two in a row as well.

The Rams have suffered back-to-back losses to Palmyra and Doane Academy.

Riverside is led by Jeanquai Morton with 14 points per game. He is followed by Manny Harris with 12.6 points per game.

Head to Head

The Pirates opened the 2015-2016 season with a 77-53 win over Riverside at home.

The Pirates have not lost to the Rams in well over seven seasons.
