Cinnaminson High School hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the renovations and new gym on Friday afternoon prior to the football game vs Delran.

Principal Darlene Llewellyn opened the ceremony with the pledge of allegiance. The high school chamber choir then sang the National Anthem.

School board president Jean Cohen also spoke. She was followed by Superintendent Dr. Salvatore Illuzzi.

There were a couple hundred students, staff, alumni and residents in attendance to tour the new gym and all of the renovations throughout the school.

The auditorium is 99% complete. The completion of the auditorium will put a cap on the 18-month project that began back in April of 2015 with the groundbreaking.

Attendees were able to tour the school after the ceremony to see the upgrades throughout the building, including the new science labs, new second floor hallway that now connects two wings and the new main office.
