13 members of the CHS DECA team qualified for nationals, which are being held in Anaheim this year towards the end of April.

The 13 members who will be attending nationals in Anaheim are Jarrod Averill, Cassandra Fedorko, Ryan Fisher, Nick Hanni, Sydney Holt, Colin Karch, Michael McDonough, Brad Miller, Christian Neuman, Tim Profy, George Snedden, Ryan Teague and Josh Wood.

The students who attended states in Atlantic City also took part in workshops such as “Careers in Social Media,” “Dress for Success” and “Careers in Sports,” which was presented by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Josh Wood and George Snedden were recognized for their work for New Eyes for the Needy.

Brad Miller received recognition at states for his work towards Gold Certification for SBE.

All the members of DECA were recognized at states for helping the group reach the thrive level.

In order to reach the thrive level, the group needed to meet two of the following: add 20 more members compared to last year, add 20 alumni or add 20 professionals to the organization. The group also had to meet requirements in two of three DECA Month Chapter Campaigns.

Those campaigns included Global Entrepreneurship Week, Promotional and Community Service.

Because the CHS DECA club hit the thrive level, the group receives three allocations to the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Anaheim from April 26-29.
